AllergyRhino
-
AllergyRhino was conceived as a modern allergy care company operating within a regulated healthcare environment. While strong clinical expertise and manufacturing partnerships were already in place, the business lacked a defined product model, service structure, and delivery system. I was engaged to translate the clinical vision into a functioning company by designing the services, digital products, and operational workflows required to operate safely, credibly, and at scale.
-
The challenge was not medical effectiveness but access, cost, and experience. Existing immunotherapy options were expensive, difficult to access, and poorly integrated into everyday care. There was no clear digital pathway that allowed patients to understand eligibility, receive treatment, and manage long term care in a simple and coordinated way.
-
The solution was designed as a vertically integrated, digital first allergy care service. I built a complete system that combined digital diagnosis and treatment management, the development of an own brand immunotherapy product to reduce cost, and physical access through a pharmacy pilot. This allowed patients to access care digitally, receive medication at home, or visit partner pharmacies for in person testing and prescriptions.
-
Throughout the project, I prioritised operational readiness, regulatory safety, and clarity over exhaustive system formalisation. The service was designed to move quickly, test assumptions, and validate market fit in real world conditions. I intentionally avoided over engineering design systems and unnecessary interface complexity, selecting tools and features that reduced risk, supported iteration, and enabled healthcare delivery across both digital and physical environments.
Brand Direction
The AllergyRhino brand was developed end-to-end, including logo, visual identity, tone of voice, and imagery.
The brand evolved through multiple iterations and was applied consistently across digital, print, physical touchpoints, and social channels.
This work also included the creation of strategic presentation decks and supporting documentation for investor communication, partnerships, competitions, and grant applications.

Digital Products and Service Workflows
An integrated digital ecosystem developed end to end to support a clear and trustworthy healthcare experience. No-code tools enabled rapid delivery and iteration across the core products, while the pollen map was led through product definition, design, and developed in collaboration.
Clinical workflows connected the system into a coherent experience for patients and healthcare professionals.
Patient Digital Tools
End-to-end product definition, design, and delivery of the patient care mobile app and pollen tracker tool. The pollen tracker included targeted collaboration for integrating the Google Pollen Map Data API.
Pharmacy Expansion
An integrated pharmacy expansion supporting direct patient access through London pharmacies. Physical and digital workflows were aligned to ensure a consistent, clear experience across in-pharmacy and online touchpoints.
Industry Event
Brand Presence
This work established AllergyRhino’s physical presence at a major industry event, supporting visibility, credibility, and early engagement within the allergy care space.
The initiative brought together spatial planning, physical materials, digital displays, and on-site coordination to present a cohesive and compliant brand experience, aligned with the broader market entry and launch strategy.

Outcome and Reflection
The company was brought to market with a complete operational, digital, and brand infrastructure in place, supporting allergy patients before being integrated into a larger healthcare portfolio.
This project reflects how I work in healthcare contexts. I take ownership of complex initiatives end to end, embedding design into strategy, product delivery, compliance, and execution to turn early visions into functioning healthcare businesses.
